Just weighed nearly stock Z28 w/headers: 3380 lbs.

A lot of people ask what an F-Body weighs stock, so I thought I would post this here for those that do use the search function. According to our local land fill, my '99 Z28 M6 with SPEC 3 clutch and aluminum flywheel; (white) leather seats; ground effects; long tube, stainless steel QTP headers; QTP off-road Y-pipe with dul electric cut outs; no spare tire or jack; gas gauge between 1/4 and half; and without me in it weighs 3380 lbs. I asked her how accurate the scales would be, and she says it goes in increments of 20 lbs. and was just tested by the state.
I'll also note that my car has been undercoated like a ****. Must have come from Chicago. Don't notice any rust, though.
Even though it's been asked, like, 1,000 times on here, I always forget how much they're supposed to weight in stock street trim, so I'll be doing a search of my own in just a second!![The Jester](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_jest.gif)
I hope this isn't wildly off base for some reason, resulting in a blast of flames about how I'm an evil, deceptive liar.

when I took it to the track 2 years ago I weighed it on their scale.
FULL tank of gas.
Me in it - 140lbs
NO spare/jack
17x8 AE 077 (28lbs each) stock 16" snowflakes (17lbs)
Ebony leather interior.
Flowmaster exhaust after the stock Y-pipe
MTI lid
stock convertor
Everything else as it came from GM and it weighed 3550
Now it has 17x9 ZR1s so subtract 30lbs
Also 3400 Fuddle so subtract another 29lbs.
So in street trim (the way I drive it EVERY day) it should be 3490lbs.

I'll edit my post to include gas level.
Search still isn't coming up for me, so I'm guessing since someone else is the same weight, I'm about right on the money.

Mine with all the stock stuff, leather seats, tire/jack, 1/4 tank, t-tops & 17x9.5/11 TT2's. Weighed in at 3460lbs.
I'm curious as to the weight now that i've removed, heat shielding, cats, Stock manifolds (added LT's) and all misc crap in glovebox and center console.
Then i'll remove stereo/speakers/disc changer, spare/jack, sound deadening, and see where i stand.

Oh and I use to go with my pops with him and his top fuel team. They would weigh the car at one track, and then weigh it at another track with absolutely nothing changed, same car, same driver, same liquids, and it would be 100lbs different. So these scales at tracks are off. And these were the same tracks that NHRA run at, so these scales were certified.

Hey, looking like my car is a hair on the light side.
That's something considering the Sport Appearance Package (Y3F) is supposed to add some weight and no doubt the undercoating should add some too. I was wrong about the gas too; it's much fuller than 1/4 tank. Almost half.
