what intake is it

what intake is it

I have a sandrail with a ls1 and I want to know if it has the ls6 intake on it already. Is there a way to tell just from looking at it?

What year is the motor from?
As far as I know you have to pull it off to be able to tell.

It's a GM crate motor bought in 06. the intake came from?

EGR = LS1
No EGR = LS6

if there is a nasty line going into the top of the intake right after the throttle body, then its an LS1 intake..... if there's nothing then its the LS6
