That CheatR package is pricey, but you're right. I've heard only good things about it. ...Plus, (zmonster) depending on how long you're down-range for, I guess the price isn't an issue My reenlistment bonus helped me with some of my mods.
And I agree, it doesn't take a huge cam to get you to 400whp with bolt-ons.

Thunder Racing 224/224 on a 114 got me to 390 rwhp with just LT's, ORY, Hooker catback and a lid!

Car is a 105,XXX M6, stock rear and tires.

Sounds like you got caught in the ms3 hype. for a dd that you want your wife to be able to drive without any hassles do all your bolt ons and a 224/228 cam or something in that region and you'll be happy

I am just short of 400rwhp with my "baby" cam (see sig.). If I went with an ORY instead of cats I would probably be there.

Was that with a tune or no?

Specifically, I am looking for a cam with a nice lobe sound, but not too much of a pain to drive in town, and that will yeild me at least 400 RWHP, with supporting bolt ons and a tune only.

Any other suggestions that will fit this bill?

any cam in the high 220s, low 230s will fit the bill. It doesnt really matter which one you pick or where you get it from. Pick by name if that turns you on..

LOL, well that's what the shop calls it. It's "baby" compared to something like an MS4.

Actually, my numbers are rather good for the mods that I have. I think that 380rwhp is average for a 22x cam but can probably get to 400 with supporting mods.

Alright, bare with my lack of knowledge with this question, but which is the more agressive cam between the MS3 and the MS4? I thought the MS3 was a moderate cam, but I may have confused myself with the MS4 or even a different cam since most guys on here are saying its pretty agressive.

Uh oh, ya passed my knowledge there. I think an MS3 is a little bigger that mine and an MS4 is much bigger.

To be honest, I went to a trusted shop and told them what results I wanted and took their recommendation.

Wow, so many pepole missing his point. CHTR is heads and cam package, he just wants a cam, MS3/4, Torquer 3, All these cams more than he wants. Listen to the wise, 224 to 234 range, with under .600 lift and you'll be good, saw one guy with 224 making 399!!! Impressive! Let us know which cam you choose, and recommend 113 or greater lsa for the wife

VRX3... 226/228 114LSA.... Solid power across the entire rpm range with excellent drivability

Quick Reply: 400 RWHP on a bolt on LS1 with a cam. Is it possible?
