Lid Question...

I know this topic has been brought up a million times. And Yes, I have used the search function, but I can't quite seem to make up my mind about a lid. I've heard good and bad things about all lids (MTI, SLP, DirectFlo, TSP)..what have you.

My question is...which lid has the best fit and performance gain for a 99 WS6...??

some fit well for others..

pick based on your pref in looks.

period.

well all lids are the same.. they will all add the same amount of hp.. pick based on looks.. i say slp's lid is the best.. add it with a k and n filter to get the most outta it.. u can get the lid for about 95 bucks on ebay and the filter for 45 bucks.. i felt a lil bit of a difference after..b4 i had the lid i was dead even with a mach 1 mustang.. after the lid i got the same mach 1 by half a car to 3/4 a car. its a must have mod

i have an slp with an aftermarket ss hood...it rubs just a little...but it aint a show car...i really doubt just a lid will give you half a car more on a mach 1...
