Default Help!! Asap!!

So I took on the task of installing my ls6 intake this afternoon. When i was pulling the old one off i noticed a broken vacumm line on the back of the intake. It runs from the passenger side of the block and around the back where it connects to the driver side rear of the valve cover. Is there any way to repair it. I see there is two inlets on the long line but can only find one line to put in. Im really lost and at a stand still

I am not sure exactley how to fix it but have a buddy come over and take a look at it a second set of eyes and knowledge has helped me out many times. Just try taking a break too and then in a little bit look at it again maybe you will have a new idea or see something different then before. Those are my only suggestions.

ok i got it all back together, I started it up and the car will rev to 3 grand and die. Sounds like a vacumm leak to me. But I had noticed two foam pieces underneath the ls1 intake. Are those gaskets?? I didnt put those on this one. would it cause a leak that bad??

The foam is nothing to worry about, its not needed really. You have a vacuum leak though. I would just pull the intake and fix it, its good experience for you anyway. You will get real fast eventually. He he he he. Sorry I'm not laughing at you bud. It will get better, you will get it. The foam is to buffer the wires for the knock sensors so they don't chafe and knock (pardon the pun) about.
