Haha nah, it's not hijacking. I'm a complete newb when it comes to suspension, i've been spending all my time eavesdropping in the internals section and the newbie forums

So don't feel like you're babbying me by spelling stuff out, i'm slow and often need it. Thanks again.

[QUOTE=Vrbas]Yeeeeaaaah, about that.... not lookin' to dish out > 1 grand./QUOTE]

You'll be buying it later then. I guess it will be fun to have the car down for a month just to place a new rear in it because you waited...

Just did the polyuerethane motor mounts, and they stiffened up the feel of the car more than I expected, but sfc's for starters.

EASILY proper shocks, but expect to pay for them. Koni's made a HUGE difference on my car, its a completely different car, has so much more grip and is predictable now (doesnt want to fishtail everywhere, and the chassis/steering is no longer numb).

for drag or cornering I would get some SFC's. I got some double diamond weld in sfc's on ebay for 180 after shipping and everything. they connect in the front, rear, and in the middle. very good design!

Hey Vrbas, you're in Memphis right? Why don't you come and join the WTFBA. West Tennessee F-Body Association. Good group of folks, all different level of mods and expertise as well as many who just enjoy the cars. Drop me and PM if you are interested.

A good set of control arms and sub frames is a great starting point that will make a difference for you. Control arm relocation bracketts are worth the 80 or so dollars they are too. If you are going to have your car up in the air and welding in sub frames I suggest to weld in the LCA relocation bracketts as well.

X2 on UMI I'd say inexpensive though, not cheap. Big difference in my book. Amazing quality parts, great customer service to go with it.

with the power you're going to be making w/ the h/c package, your rear wont last long at all. 9" or bust.
