I tried a few different wieghts and brands of synthetics when I first got the car and ended up using the Mobil 1 0w 40. Seems to do well in the Texas heat. Lifters are fairly quite, good Psi, no consumption issues.

Used 5W-30 M1 for a while then switched to GC 0W-30. Wasnt happy with the initial increase in drivetrain noise. But after a couple hundred miles its back to normal. Oil pressure sits a lil over 40 at idle.

Ive used GC..Mobil 1...Pennzoil Platinum..Amsoil..havent really noticed any difference between them. I used the Platinum because of the buy one get one sale at advance auto..On long highway trips my car does seem to burn the platinum quicker than other oils ive tried...I havent decided if i'm gonna stick with the Platinum or not..I still have some GC left over..so i will prolly use that on my next oil change, and than idk..maybe i'll keep using the GC or just switch back over to the Platinum and stick with it.

I have no problems getting it. Why do people say this? You can order it at the counter. dude. Just wait for a sale, it's on sale for $4.49/quart quite frequently. When it's on sale, order 24 quarts and you're good for 2 years. When I saw it on sale, I bought 24 quarts and now I'm good for a looooong time. When it's on sale again, I'll pick up some more.

I've heard good things about PP from a few people I talk to and from some reading I did on here, so I decided to try it out. I also hear good things about the GC so I think I will try it out next time.

Yes it does. Go to the counter and ask the guy to order some for you. Just because they don't have it in stock or get shipments anymore doesn't mean it's not in its system. Autozone can order a lot of stuff they don't stock, from mufflers to catbacks to cold air intake systems and more. Oil is no different. Place your order for several cases when it's on sale and pick it up the next week. Then you're set for years.

Wow. What a unique idea! There's never been a "which oil do you use?" poll before.

Well... maybe one or two. Or four. Or... 10. Not more than 10 "Which oil do you use?" polls for sure.

At any rate, not more than 20.
