What kind of headers......
This question probably proves im a newb but thats what im here for to learn so here it goes. Im thinking of getting Pacesetter Long Tube headers and I was wondering if can have Hi-flo catalytic converters welded on to this setup for emission standards? Or do i have to get shorty headers wich a I dont want?
Thanks

ive got pacesetter LT's, and a Texas speed catted Y and i love them.
Its loud when on throttle, but just crusing its not too loud.
Ive never hit any speed bump or anything.

x3 for pacesetters and TSP catted. you only scrape if you lower your car. which i did.....hence scrape over everything. my shop did a shitty job installing the exhaust though, so thats part of the problem. with the original loudmouth, the sound is pure sex.

theres no huge differance in types, other then price. are you really willing to pay over DOUBLE the price for kooks, a maybe, MAYBE get 2-5hp more?? im not. for the price of just kooks headers, you can get pacesetters, catted Y, AND installed. i think that is a far better use of time and money then just kooks headers.

Yea, I went with the pacesetters and the off road y and its good looking and the results are noticeable. Its a rush and the responce is unrestricted. My buddy has dynatech's and the're bad a$$. But they are over a grand. If you are on a budget and don't care about 2-5 hp, go with the pacesetters. You won't be dissapointed.
