I was able to get 120/month on my 98 Z28 with 2 points. I am 19 also. Without the points, it was 80. This was with Geico insurance. Progressive and All-State weren't far behind. This is in CA as well. Good luck.

Fwiw, my 4 banger acura is 220/month, basically double the amount of ls1 camaro..

I have 1 wreck(my fault) and 1 minor moving and my insurance is 145 a month for me and the wife on my 98z28 and 03Beetle.

The wife has 2 minor moving violations also.

Coverage is:

50/100/50
5000 med pay
50/100
50/100
500 - comp
500 - collision
30 a day rental
Roadside

No physical damage on the z28

with physical it is about 275 a month.

I would try GMAC. I called around and got quotes from EVERYONE! GMAC was for sure the cheapest. I actually like a lot of things about them. GMAC has been good to be. i will probably never change insurance companies...

well im 18 and on my 2000 z28 b4 it got totaled i was paying 650 per 6 months for liability only i would not suggest getting liabilty only even though the wreck was not my fault im still screwed b/c of a biker that decided swap lanes on top of me locked up the tires hit the curb and have unrepairable frame damage so im screwed and it has to be filed also because i hit 2 trees in the median on the road that are city property....

Try Drive Insurance. It's through Progressive. They were significantly cheaper than anywhere else. My parents' company, Country Companies, quoted me at $436/month for liability on a '93 Z28. I've got a really crappy driving record. I'm 19 and have had 2 license suspensions, to give you a taste of how bad it is. Drive Insurance has insured me for $105/month on my '94 Z28, with my own plan. Just go to www.driveinsurance.com and get a quote.

I pay 576.08 for a 6-month premium, full coverage, $500 deductable.. mine is so low because I'm in the military, no driving record, and good credit.
