That seems way high to me. I paid 18k for my 2000 SS with 39k miles an in mint condition (middle aged driver, never modded) in 2003.

If you're planning on spending that much, pick up a z28 or TA roller and do the mods YOU wanna do from the ground up.

Or a C5 would be nice too.

So now what do you all think? I found this nice 2000 transam with 57k miles on it. No performance mods, completely stock. It's a M6. Guy wants it gone for 12.5, but I talked with him today and talked him down to 11.5. Think it's better than the sunset orange with all the mods? Thanks!

IMO that car looks a lot more dull. Depending on your budget I would wait. If your ok with that color go for it, if not wait untill something comes a long you want just dont rush into it. The first car is just plain badass tho, talk them down and go for that.
