At the Track!!
I had a 95z28 with factory stall converter and I couldn't leave much above I'd say around 1500-1800, maybe that's even pushing it, it was quite some time ago and that was the first car I ever took to the track. But anyways I brang the rpm's up the best I could and could feel the tires starting to break loose ever so slightly. But don't worry, after you get the hang of it and the feel for the car it will be a breeze. It's kinda nerve wracking your first time cuz everyone is watching but all goes away after the first time down the track. It won't even bother you the second time around. Trending Topics
Just do a light burnout to clean the tires off. Heating up street radials
tends to make them greasy, not sticky.
I agree with everything else.

running street radials (Kumho Ecsta 712's) on stock 16" wheels:
- Drive around the water box.
- Back up enough to create some room (don't back into the water box).
- Do a light burnout for 2 seconds or so just to clean the tires off.
- Light the first bulb.
- Let your opponent stage.
- Light the 2nd bulb...but just barely light it up.
- Keep your left foot on the brake.
- Keep your right foot on the gas pedal.
- Bring the rpm's up and flash the converter a bit (~1500rpm).
- On the 3rd yellow (sportsman tree) roll into the throttle aggressively.
- You should be at WOT by the time you count "one one-thousand".
- Keep the gas to the wood past the finish line (don't let out early).
1.8 60' on street tires:
- MTI lid
- Hooker Catback
- Free mods (TB bump stop mod, !FRA)
- Nitrous
Again, whatever that technique is...don't leave water on the line for
those of us running big tires.
Best of luck.
for that "running start", but it does exist...and every inch counts.
I was given this piece of advice from a good friend of mine.
I tend to listen when he tells me something. Here's his car: vid

wow 11.5 with only those mods???? u dident have a stall or something!! how much shot of nitrous?? that is a real good time

Nope...stock converter.
Oh...not too much...just a little old NX wet kit.

Thanks. It was a real sleeper that's for sure...stock 4x4 ride height
and everything.
I beat that car hard and she just kept beggingfor more. Gotta love LS1's.
111mph but I don't believe it since I never backed it up. I never did catch
a good short time N/A. It had a 12.85 in it for sure.
Keep in mind that my car was had a 4L60E (easier to drive) and it was
a Z28 with few options. It wasn't a stripper car, but it was pretty light
all things considered.

your trap is really good for running 13 flat, yea for the A4 the most important is the launch, i was still using the stock shifter, so my shifting was not so great at all! but 12.8 is alot better then i would expect from your car. your numbers are very impresive to me, im still amazed!
after a while.
