GMHTP magazine did a test. all lids added 10rwhp. No one lid was better than any other. They did say the fit & finish on the SLP was the best. I only gained 2-4 rwhp, can't remember exactly.

I got the SLP lid and it came in the mail today. Probably try to figure out how to install it tomorrow. I talked to some guy in class today for the first time and he said a lid is the most pointless investment.

Well he's not too bright. Dollar for dollar it's a great mod. Any lid is much less restrictive than the stock piece of crap.

I've had the SLP and an LS1 Motorsports version. Between the two I like the fit and finish of the SLP the best. I never had any rubbing problems with it on my WS6 or Z28.
As a side note on installation, when removing the IAT sensor and it's grommet I've found that gently heating the area with a hairdryer and pulling the sensor out with needle nose pliers makes the job much easier.
