Well I used to use RP, never had a bad experience with it, just decided to try something new so I switched to Mobil 1 European Formula 0w-40 in my truck. I used 4 quarts of the 0w-40 and one quart of their Diesel 5w-40 since it has a lot more anti shear additives than gasoline oil. My truck has higher oil pressure at all times especially when fully hot and under load on the freeway I get 55-60 psi all day and 35-40 at idle whereas I was at 50 psi under load and around 25-30 psi at idle. It seems to like it as the motor runs quieter and smoother it seems. I think I'll try mixing 3 quarts of 0W-40 and 2 quarts of 5W-40 this time and see what it does just for ***** and giggles.

Well.....this is like comparing apples to oranges here...
But as I said completed my tuneup...replaced with royal purple 10-30 and put the NGK-TR55 on it.....
It had conventional oil cheap fram filter, factory plugs and wires...all replaced...
Just so far I'm noticing an extreme difference in gas mileage, and the exhaust doesn't pop anymore like it would when revved up in park....
Soo...for me again.....Royal Purple as this is the second car I've put it in with the same results.....RP and M1 both good I still prefer RP....Although I never tried the GC or Amsoil
