I use RP 5w-30 in the summer, and 10w-30 in the winter because its thicker. I have been using RP for years, I switched from Mobil 1 and I love it, no leaks, and lower engine temp...although I havent tried the Castrol or PP yet, but RP works great for me so why switch?

^ yeah you guys are right, I have a couple of boxes of RP I bought in bulk in the garage, I wrote winter on half of the boxes and summer on the others, so I got it backwards, luckily the boxes are labled correctly, but I guess it doesnt really matter anyways, because I hardly ever drive my Camaro..thats why I bought a mustang for a beater

yeah i like the way everyone says "german castrol" like its some fancy new oil.
it was out first and has been called "castrol syntec" from the get go. always made in germany.
but wait...Fast and the Furious 1 was sponsored by Castrol Syntec with Paul Walker presenting it at the beginning of the DVD. and thats an import(RICER) movie. so no way we could have even thought about using that right? lol. it took a recent test up here that someone gave the link to for everyone to use it.
o and by the way i would never put 0w30 in an LS1. that is WAY to thin for me. approaching 6 grand on the tach the bearings have to be hell hot.
