Why would you need it? 93 octane should be fine for your car....

There is no need for it, unless you filled up with 89 or 87

You have very few mods. The guys are right. Save you money. You don't
need octane booster.

IMO...octane booster is useless anyway. If you need more octane, just pony
up and run race gas. Your application doesn't require anything more than 91
octane pump gas though.

Let me put it in perspective for you. I run 19psi of boost on 93 octane with zero
octane booster and I'm making about 300rwhp more than you. You don't need it.

Not if he has O2's. It'll eat them up since 110 is leaded.

hmm...I remember reading somewhere that octane boosters really only raise the octane rating of a full tank of gas by less than a full point, or something stupid like that

Yeah, I vaguely remember reading the same thing. It was something like a can of booster that claimed a 7 point increase only changes it a small amount, say from 89 to 89.7.

I only have access to 91 here so before the track it gets about a 1/4 tank and a octane booster. Will be running meth this year so that will be my octane booster.

yes, points are 10ths of an octane. Also, when they say points it is usually for 10 gallons. The best octane booster you can get is the torco stuff. It will increase the octane quite a bit more han the usual stuff. With that said, you don't need it. Run premium.

if you really feel the need to dump something in your tank other than an extra gallon of gas, get a bottle of Lucas fuel treatment...it will at least clean things up in a way similar to the Seafoam stuff that gets so much praise around here, I use 1/3 of the small bottles every other fill up, but thats mostly for the lubrication qualities and keeping the carb clean

octane boosters are junk, and octane doesn't equal power anyway
