I have MTI clear lid on my WS6 (raised airbox) and it fits like crap. If I could do it again I'd go with TSP. However, the MTI lid once installed looks awesome. I love it but it was a serious pain in the but to get on.

The MTI Lid is the best on the market, IMO.
It was the original lid then others have tried to duplicate. I have seen it first hand, other lids make less power on the dyno then changed out to a MTI lid and pick-up 5-10hp with in mins. If you need to see it for yourself. At most places you get 2 dyno pulls, and I will volunteer my MTI Lid for some testing.

I love mine....I also get alot of compliments on it!!!
.....plus easier to see if you have any gaps on the way your air lid sits!!.......and you can also see if you have crap stuck on your MAF!!....that is you might not need to if your lid is tightly secure!!!

thanks, craig, but i still haven't figured out how a lid will allow the hood to remain functionable. Thats the only reason i haven't ordered one already.

I just figured it out! I'm retarded! Theres an air vent right under the lid , between the frame and the bottom of the filter case that draws in air!
I thought I had to replace the lid with an open piece like the WS6
