you guys suck here in el paso "the mountains" stock ls1's run high 13's to mid 14's most of them in the mid 14's i ran a 13.9 with drag radials. And lsx85 the first thing i would do is try to find a ls6 intake you will be happy with your 1/4 gain

wow, lots of responses. ok so im a pretty damn good auto driver, not so much on stick.
i cut a .007 light with my old R/T (automatic) so i can drive the **** out of autos. the DA here can get around 2100 in the cooler months. and i normally race a byron dragway.
not sure yet what gears i have, i need to check that out soon. i guessing a 3.23 by the way she reacts during different speeds.

If it has 2.73s you will be at 2000 rpm at 80mph and will have GU2 somewhere on the door tag.

nah, i dont really wanna turn this thing into a radical race car. i know full well how much an intake can gain you in the 1/4 i had full bolt ons in my R/T, so im no stranger to modding. i just want my z28 to sound really nice and maybe take her to the track once or twice just to see what she will do. the 94 camaro z28 is the track car.

if you had a 01-02, you'd already have a ls6 intake, so it wont hurt anything except the bank lol they run a lot better on an ls6 intake... too bad i have a 00 as well and only enough money for a set of headers

I've cut a perfect light before, but probably average .16x or so. Drag racing an f-body with an A4 that is running the 1/4 in 13 seconds is SIMPLE....Being good at racing an M6 is a whole different story.......

i have the same car with the same mods and i ran the same time, only at 107 mph with a 2.12 60'. so you'll run mid 13's most likely.

You ought to be able to run mid 13's if it's running right.

The time in my signature was my first run at the track with my Z28.

FWIW I ran a 13.52 @ 102.xx with a SLP Lid and a Fast Toys Ram Air [ FTRA ] on crappy back tires. My 60 ft was 2.1x....track prep wasn't great
