Just bought a 99 ws6.So far I got a lid,and a cutout, and some free mods.So me and my friend went to the track,I ran a 13.3 @106.9mph.I heard thats a pretty descent time.So does anybody have any sugg?I think Im going to get some 4.10's and a set of nittos for the track.

Is it an M6 or an A4?
That time sounds about right, but you could probably do better with some practice.
Nittos are a good idea, and so are 4.10's if you have an M6. If it's an A4, then 3.73 is the most you'd want to go.

Is your car an auto or a 6 speed? If it is an auto, get a torque convertor. You should get a set of headers too.

Nice times. I personally wouldn't add 4.10's until i added a Cam but it's up to you.

I've heard 4.10's and Nittos will get you a busted rear end or even more!

So should I just stick with my stock 3.42s or an aftermarket 3.73?

From what I know and learned from this site, you probably won't find much of a difference in the 3.73 gear. If you go for gears go for the 4:10s.

Your times are similar to mine. I've only been to the track once in this car. Your 60' time will determine if you need to change your rearend. Personally, I'm just changing tires, and practicing first. I suggest you do the same. Just my 2 cents.

So should I just get some nittos for now with my stock rearend, that way I could launch a git higher and not peel for my whole 60 foot. When I ran the 13.3 my 60 foot was a 1.9.I heard that a little high i should be more around the 1.7s.

With a set of nittos im sure you can get in the 12's. Hell I honestly think that you can do it without the nittos, just some more time behind the wheel.

if you got a gear swap i would go with 3.73s because they will be a much stronger gear being that the pinion gear is a little larger vs. the smaller 4.10 pinion. If you run the 4.10 you will be more likely to have rear end truble
