The drill mod is where you drill out the restriction in the braided stainless line that connects the master to the slave. There is a write up with pictures at

no problem!!
for some reason gm decided to use small lines which results in not enough fluid flow(at high rpms) which then results in a very sticky clutch pedal. this mod is highly recommended.

ive been wondering about that for a while on my car... thanks. one question, do you have to get the mcleod master cylinder, or can you just do the drill mod and reinstall the factory one? if thats the case i know what i'll be doing next weekend

you dont need to get a new master cylinder, (although it is recommended especially if you have high miles or if you do alot of racing). the drill mod itself will eliminate alot of that stiff/sticky pedal.
