Default 2001 - 2002 F-Body Y-Pipe

The stupid thing is almost flat from the factory... anyone know if changing this is worth the money?

I will eventually be doing headers (eventually..not this year probably) but if it's a nice bump in power (looking for a 12 second pass this year) I want to change it.

Just looking at it It makes me think there is a lot of power to be gained..

Experiences?

Proven to be worth very little. Maybe .1 and 1 MPH.

Just wait for headers.

even though its flat, the pipe didnt reduce the area inside, so it should flow the same as a regular round pipe. if it necks down, then you will have restriction.
