genaral rule is that for the same duration a tighter (lower number) LSA will raise the peak torque but also narrow the powerband. There is a real need to open up the exhaust as the tighter the LSA, the more sensitive to backpressure. You may lose a touch at the very low end, but above that, especially in the mid range will pump up considerably and the top end should show some increase as well, but when it falls off the cam, it will fall fast. Essentially you should see more power, but at a lower RPM. Emissions will be increase as well as you increase the overlap. A wider LSA, like above 110 on the 346 is a band-aid (IMO) for duration that is too large. The engines civility will drop with the narrower LSA's
