I know this does'nt answer your question exactly. You did ask which would lower your et? Get rid of those nittos and get some M/Ts cause with a 3600 stall you aint gonna hook up w/ those nittos.

Seriously though a stall should be the first thing any a4 car should get done after lid, and catback. I ran 12.64 with just that and M/T drag radials. 11.62 w/ 125 shot.

Btw I had 2.73s as well, And only picked up 1.5 w/ 3.73s
With your mods a 3000 would work but a 3600 will be alot more fun and give you room to grow.
Good luck.

Well, I just got mine and took them to the track once and i am assuming I didn't get them hot enough because they wouldn't hook that well, but the track conditions were terrible that evening and a lot of other people were having trouble hooking as well. I have since then got them to hook pretty decent on the street after warming them up a bit.

Nittos suck at the track and perform ok at best on the street! My best 60 w/ Nittos 2.0 W/ M/T drs 1.45, No other changes. You do the math! LOL

I'm about in the same boat. Have about the same bolt-on's you have and also sporting the 2.73's. My plan is a 3600 stall and move up to 3.73's w/ M/T's. Anybody have any before after gains from those three mods at the same time? (Stall, gears, and sticky tire?) I'm running 13.0's @ 108 on BFG KDW's, stock stall, and 2.73's. Just wondering what kind of gains to expect if I could do all three mods at once.

stall.. I had a 3600 stall with a 2.73 gear, catback, and ET streets and ran multiple 12.7's... I only gained .1-.15 when I went to a 3.73 gear. Before the stall with just the catback I could only manage 13.30's dead hooking on regular street tires.

Nittos are the worst of all the Drag radials. They are better than regular radials though.

I also daily drive my car with the Vig 3600 stall and 3.73's.. no problems at all. I have vids as well in my f-quick garage.. (click my sig)

I don't see why you guys are having such problems with Nittos. They don't hook as well as M/T's, but that's a tradeoff for getting MUCH longer life out of them on the street. For what it's worth, I cut high 1.6/low 1.7 60fts all day long on Nittos in my heads/cam car. You just have to heat them up really good to get them sticky.

To the OP, a 3600 Yank or Vig would be PERFECT for you. Like was mentioned earlier, it will make the car tons of fun to drive while not sacrificing driveability and it will give you room to grow if you mod the car further.

Yeah, they're not as good as a Yank or a Vig.

I will give you the fact that they are a trade off but it realls sucks to go to the track and have to pedal the car to get down the track.
Not to mention I'm making a little over 500/500 and the simple truth is Nittos just cant handle that kind of power. Even when I was at 400 they couldnt take it.
On the other hand if your car is a dd then Nittos are an ok choice. MHRacemasters are a better choice for a dd IMO.

So if I kept the 2.73's for awhile with a 3600 it won't hurt the mileage that bad? I get about 23 mpg now and I could live with only losing about 2 with the stall.
