Default what to do

So im gonna have about $800 bucks to play with and right now on my 01 auto ws6 i have lts, ORY, full 3in, ported tb, lid, LCA amd the battery in the trunk. I have the chance to pick up a set of ls6 head (minus rockers and push rods) for $300. But I already had planned on getting a stall, cooler, and getting the car tuned for my nitrous and the previous mods. My question is should I get those heads and sit on them awhile while I wait to purchase a cam. But if I do that ill have to wait til I get a stall anyway beause of the cam. So with that money I could have a stall and nitrous now or wait til the end of the year and have it all. Of course its summer and I want it now but money is tight so what should I do? I just dont want to pass up a good deal on heads-unless my stock convertor can be used with most likely a ls6 cam?

if you're wanting to go fast forget about the heads and get a cam like a trex cam. You prolly have enough for that and it should push you well over 400 to the wheels

Keep your original progression. Get a stall, cooler, and a trans temp guage...And don't look back.

get a stall..then save a little bit and do a cam..You'll make good power even on stock heads. You will fall in love with a converter though.

get a cam, and also search for a stall that will match the powerband of the cam. game over.

I'd have to agree with everyone else. Get the convertor now, then start saving for the cam.

makes the most sense...a stall and some stickies will get your times down significantly

6-spd conversion, then a cam, then a 9-inch.
