I am looking to buy a 2001 Camaro and all true SS Camaro's I have seen were leather that i remember. This one is cloth, so do some SS's come without leather?

yes, call slp with the last 5-6 numbers of the vin, they will tell you if it's an ss or not and the build number. also i think the door code is 11U? or maybe that was my paint color don't remember lol anyways just call slp they'll know 100%

Most I have seen are leather but they did come with cloth. The most tell tale sign I see is that it wont have the lip on the rear spoiler and will have the Z28 spoiler, but to be sure look at door codes and contact SLP.

I have an 02 SS with the 345 option and mine came with cloth.

Cloth 98 SS here just look for the WU* RPO code in the door which makes it a real SS Y2Y is only for cars with SLP options
