you can but its kinda pointless. Unless you get test pipes you wont see any gain.

i dont get what you mean.....
if you mean throw in a bigger y pipe then the stock one but still keep your stock cats and headers..yes thats the SLP Y pipe...

or you can get the off road Y-pipe that is made for stock headers which takes the cats out of it so its not legal but will give you bit more power and louder
forgot who make them but they go for around 100 bucks for a decent used pair but you need o2 simulators or a tune so you wont get a check engine light.

yeah like i said above those are your only options do a serch of ory for stock headers

https://ls1tech.com/forums/western-classifieds/945543-dynomax-ory-brand-new-never-used.html
found this this will just bolt up to your stock headers and to your catback...it will delete the cats..

Bassani makes one. I think Mac does also. Do a search in the Gen 3 external section. I know there are several threads in there on this subject.

Yeah its possible, but really not worth it. Most of the restriction is in the factory manifolds, (not headers) IMO, wait till your ready to do headers, then it would pay off to do a y.

I had shorties already installed on mine when I bought my car, I did the slp y-pipe and catback because it's cheaper than the headers + install so i did the rest of it first, so probably getting something out of it... anyways when I get headers they'll bolt right up to what I already have. The y pipe + catback was bearly a gain, it's just louder with the aftermarket y than it was, just slightly. Plus the tubing is alot bigger, and it bangs and hits sometimes -.-
