I finally have enough money to buy headers now. I decided to buy them from Texas Speed. (http://www.texas-speed.com/shop/item...id=182&catid=8) If theres better deals out there dont be afraid to let me know. I was wondering if i will need to buy anything else for installation, like 02 extensions. If it makes a difference i have a 98 Ta. Also, could anyone tell me how much it would cost for a shop to put it in. I will have a friend put them in and want to know a fair price to pay. Thanks for everyones help.
Ps. i have used search and couldnt really find anything.

From what I hear a shop may charge around $300 bucks for a header install. If you have any way to do it yourself I suggest you at least try, to save yourself a good amount of money.
Yes you will need front o2 extensions. Also idk what "milellinaters" are but do you mean o2 sims (simulators)?
Last heres a pretty good link about EGR/AIR...

Bottom line both are useless (imo) and if your getting RACE style headers your gonne not be using them anyway so get rid of them.

Texas speed is also where i'm going to buy my pacesetter headers and y-pipe. That price is a good price, IMO anyway. You may find used good condition headers for maybe $4-450, but you might as well pay the extra for brand new stuff.

A friend of mine referred me to BBK chrome plated headers. They are 370 with free shipping. That is a heck of a lot cheaper then spending around $600 for The pacesetters with the tsp ypipe. Is it work paying $200 more?

I just did this complete setup install in my boys garage took us (well me) a total of 7hrs to complete the job but it took longer because I did a few other things while I was under there. if your removing the emissions get all the off road stuff but get the headers coated. you do need at least 12" o2 ext. and one of two options people use to eliminate the inevitable bumping of the y-pipe under the car when you stomp on it is to either replace the motor mounts with poly's or use the mufflex bump-stop. (thunder racing sells them for like $40) and their a sponsor. IMO doing the job yourself really makes the install feel better. and you get to know your car a lot better
heres what I did
