Word.

Wound up pulling the headers in my buddys Camaro just for plugs. Then broke a bolt.

I've got the Pacesetters and they're alright. Even though I don't drive my car in the rain they still have a little rust on the collector area. Look into the BBKs. They have a better coating, similar ground clearance, and a very nice looking Y pipe. Other than that, get yourself a pair of O2 sensor extensions, you can reuse your stock manifold gaskets, and whether you want to use the new header bolts that come with the headers or reuse the stock ones is your choice.

my pacesetters came with a nice set of copper gaskets which have no leaks, and i would put some gaskets on them neways,i wouldnt reuse...as for header bolts go to homedepot and match the old ones up for the same grade 8's and just put antiseeze on them..

Poly motor mounts should cure that. They're cake to install with the exhaust manifolds off the car too. You should always do the mounts while installing headers. There's no good reason not to IMO.

The bbk's are coming today sometime, im pretty excited! I read in another thread that the gaskets the bbk's came with looked kind of cheap but they worked without leaks, so i think im goin to stick with those.

do poly mounts cause major vibration and noise through the car?
If so we definitely don't need anything else to make our fbods squeak
and rattle..
