really bad electrical problem
really bad electrical problem alright a variety of things is going on .... ok when i turn my head lights on my dash lights go out all of them except the check engine light and all those warning lights but other than that all dash lights ... another thing is my pioneer cd player turns on and off when it wants to ....BUT when its off the windows will not roll up or down but when it miraculously turns back on the windows begin working again i need some help lol it was rainin today and the windows was down the radio decided to quit workin

I was looking for a :your_fucked: smiley... but couldnt seem to find it... Ive never heard of an electrical problem that bad, Hope you are able to find the cause. good luck to you and welcome to the site 
I would start with the radio either make sure its wired right or just get a new one all together also check battery connections at the battery might be something loose ....To many things so start with the obvious keep us updated

I assume your dash lights come on when you turn the parking lights on, then go back off when you switch to headlights?
My Haynes manual was within reach so i looked at the electrical diagram. The headlight switch looks like a 2 pole switch (2 sets of contacts on one ****). 1 set of contacts shows the park and headlight contacts connected together. It would make sense that this is what turns the dash lights on. I dont know where the actual connection is, if it's on the switch or burried in the wire harness somewhere. I'd try to check that.
Those wiring diagrams are hard to follow, and I make wiring diagrams for electronic controllers.

yea im stumped i pulled the pioneer unit out last night and the moron who put it in literally cut and spliced every f***in single wire in the back to make it work i think im going to have to get it redone thats the only thing i can think of it could be 
Ok i just had this problem so listen up. The radio/window problem is a loose wire or a broken solder joint on the bcm (body control module) located under the passenger side dash above your right foot, if that makes sense. I re-soldered the joint in the bcm and that fixed my problem completely. But about two months later i started to have a lot of crazy things go wrong and my father in law works at a dealership and took it in for me. It turned out that my bcm took a **** on me. I had to get it replaced. the retail price for a new bcm is 285 to 300 bucks. Yeah......i know.... hey man i hope that helps.

Verdad Gallardo there is no point in doing that. the radio and windows are controlled by the bcm. if they both act up at the same time then the problem is within the bcm. you can look up radio/window problems and there is tons of posts about this and even on that shows you which solder joint is cracked.
