That sounds like detonation/ping/ preignition. Might want to get that looked at......

Check your plugs, some people have had their plugs get fouled up after seafoaming. O2 sensors are another possibility if they've gotten gunked up, that and cats.

Well considering seafoam is a petroleum product it shouldnt hurt anything. i did it to my car and on the "spirited drive" portion of the process it blowed smoke for about an eigth of a mile! Afterwards ran great, no problems 5000 miles later.

Im just going to assume the knocking is piston slap @ idle. Since you sea foamed the engine you prolly just free'd up the carbon in the piston rings. When i sprayed my car with 150 hit it started to have a lot of piston slap. I feel nitrous and sea foam both clean the engine up real well!! lol And yes im sure it was piston slap to those who think i have rod knock. but you prolly crapped out your plugs and clogged your cats..depending on how bad a shape the motor was in before you cleaned it (carbon deposits, gunk, etc. etc.) I find it next near to impossible for your throttle body to be knocking in any way shape or form, unless you accidently left the plate loose after you ported it!

Change your plugs AFTER a seafoam, NOT before.

Piston slap is feasible.

Go buy some 2$ TR55s @ O'Reilly's. NGK# 3951 IIRC.

So you put seafoam in your brake booster line which was leading to the engine at time. ummm,,, well just go somewhere where you won't bother a bunch of people and just rev the crap out of it ONCE ITS ALREADY WARMED UP. See if that clears it out.

I used it and it cleaned out my ls1 pretty good! Sorry but I feel that you misunderstood the instructions some where. Not calling you stupid or anything. I did mine and it turned out perfectly. You don't really need to drive it on the street to clear it out. You can rev in one spot.

I had fun and drove with mine lmao! There was this guy in his mechanic shirt walking into his trailer and I went flying by with this big *** cloud of smoke behind me and he just stopped walking and stared! I was hauling *** LMAO I bet he was thinking WTF?!

See if you can find someone local who knows about ls1s and see if they can help you.

I bet the cats too, my buddy had a vehicle do this to him. It ran so bad that a mechanic even thought that the engine had a major malfunction. Wasn't from seafoam but just driving it but sounds like a very similar outcome.

i love seafoam personally, but its semi-corrosive, maybe you should check your booster line and see if its collapsed at all or if its swolen...that might cause the power loss...good luck!

Doing an induction service will foul out the plugs fairly often.
