i dont know why he put it in the booster...it can be used as a fuel injector cleaner, but i havent used it as that...its better to just put it straight in your engine oil...anyways, its mostly up to you, but i recommend changing the oil after youve had it running at operating temperature for awhile so all the crud is loosened, then depending on how recently you performed your tune-up, check the plugs too...just to be sure.

Seafoam goes into the brake booster hose to clean the carbon out of the cylinders. If you put it in your oil it's gonna clean all of the gunk and sludge out of your motor and drop it in your oil filter. So yes, you'll want to change the oil and filter afterwards.

About two weeks ago I noticed a slight ticking underneth after putting my new clutch in we just thought something loose, but ended up throwing two rods through the block 3 days later and mine only has 80k on it and not beaten bad.

i heard a real bad ticking from my car. everybody told me it was just an exhaust leak but i couldnt find it. so then everybody said it was a lifter. well when i started tearing it apart it was a push rod all bent to hell. that push rod also messed up my head. so my advise to you is to stop driving it. take off the coil packs, vavle covers, then your rocker arms. after that you can pull out your push rods and put them on a flat glass surface and roll them to tell if they are bent or not. then if its not that then it is probably the lifters, but change out the lifters you have to take the heads off.

i got the same knocking sound...it can be lifters, rod bearings, or even carbon build up...Do you hear it under load and up hills(thats when mine is more eveident)...any how try puting it in neutral and rev it up... see if you hear the knocking that might eliminate some theories...

not really a knock.. just kinda ticking.. motors smooth when you race the engine.. the only bad thing is the ugly rasp of the gay *** flowmaster cat back.. (bought it like that) other than that its pretty smooth..

If you've been driving it like that for a while and it hasn't gotten worse then I'd say it's not a rod bearing. My next guess would be a bent pushrod, or maybe a loose rocker arm. The bearings are prone to falling out of the stock rockers. You might want to check that out also.
