i have had plenty of runs with my roommates C6 and i have always got the best of him.
bolt-ons, 3600 stall and 230/236 cam..405RWHP...good power for a cam only set up on an A4. more specs on my fquick page.
From a dig, i blow his **** outta the water. but he puts a much better fight from a roll.
if your buddy has the budget...of course its possible with a H/C and stalled set up.

even more headache relief than buying and selling cars, swapping motors and blowing them up... unplug a couple of the sacred ls3's coils before the race and spank the **** out of that c6 with the v6 camaro.

yea your NOT going to need 500 wheel to win, it wouldnt hurt though.ls3's are putting down up to 385 wheel with just a tune, so between aero and weight your going to need a full 425 minimum to keep up with their TOP END. it wouldnt be hard to setup an ls1 car to win in the 1/4 that doesnt have as much to do with the power as the rest of the setup.

Ive got some good news and some bad news.
Good news, you have a STRONG cam-only car that runs well for what it is, anyone who tells you different should be smacked upside the head.
Bad news, your roomate has a ls2 vette. No way you are keeping up with the ls3. ls3 vette is almost as fast (within 1 car) of the ls7 c6Z06. Raced them bost, lost to them both. Honeslty, those c6 lS3s are the best buy on the market right now. Almost the same performance of a z06 for around 15-20k less.

personally i think you were lied to unless you KNOW the ls3 onwer. ive played with few and they are faster but i have yet to see one keep up with even a bone stock ls7z06. but who knows there are always those factory freaks, look at my #'s....
