Need Help Identifying Engine/Casting Numbers--pics included
I'm looking at picking up an engine for what I *think* is a really good deal. Supposedly it's a brand new never run LS series engine, with aluminum block and heads. Looks like an LS1 intake to me but I'm pretty much a newb on these things. I'm looking to find out as much info as I can from these numbers and crappy pics. I searched but no luck. Any help and as much info as possible would be much appreciated.
Under left head stamped on the block: 12566910AA
Oil pan:1x207963
Intake:1256088
And the crappy pics:
Thanks!

Looks like a LM4 (5.3L all aluminum V8) out of a late 2003 or 2004 SSR since it has a low intake.
If it has a hole going through the oil pan then it's out of an SSR. The SSR was built on a Trailblazer/Envoy frame and was designed to get AWD. The initial ones got the unit bearings out of them also until they found out what happened when there was no halfshaft to preload them...
Almost all GM part numbers are 8 digit now so the intake part number is probably wrong.
I'd get more part numbers off it. I'd say it's worth like $500 tops since damn near everything is missing.

It's not worth as much to me as the Dana 60 I was gonna trade him so I'll pass. If it were an LS1/2/6 I'd go for it but Instead I think I'm gonna buy my buddy's high mileage 5.3 for $50 and rebuild/mod it to suit my needs
Thanks for the help guys.
