Do NOT Lift on the oil pan!

Christ!

The Skidplate is the large black hunk of steel between your wheels.

And that puny jack might be better on a subframe, IMO.

...And ditch the fram filter.

I agree. Take the fram back and get a bigger jack. Stay away from anything that says "racing" or "lightweight"

Well, it came as a packaged deal with 2 jack stands, a 4-wheel creeper, a pair of wheel chocks, and a lug wrench. Was a pretty good deal. Is this better? :

Also, I'm going to be changing the oil. Will lifting it front the front only, and having the stands on the subframes not allow ALL the oil to drain? Being that the car is tilted backwars or am i alright?

The jack started pretty good. but once the car was up a few.. it doesn't even budge. I'm afraid to actually lift it off the ground completely.

It's labeled to lift 5-13 inches off the ground. I couldn't even get the wheels off the floor. Was complete crap... The other accessories were worth it though. Since i couldn't change my oil this way, i installed the 8500K hid fog light bulbs that i bought off ebay (the stock ones weren't coming on)... Still though, nothing turned on. ...

I changed my oil over the weekend. I couldn't get on the ramps, they just kept sliding across the floor of my garage. I've got on them before but ran out of patience this time. Next time I'll attach straps to the ramps so the weight of the car on the straps will hold them in place.

I got the front wheels on a 2x4 for extra jack clearance. Then jacked it up from the k member enough to get jack stands under it. I was impressed by how much harder it is to lift the whole front end, instead of just one side. If you have a 2 ton jack it should be able to lift the front end.

What's wrong with the Fram filters? I only ask because I just put one on my car.
