I just seafoamed mine... Didnt have too much smoke.. But I believe it helped especially at idle. I pulled my wideband out to do it.. I dont know if it would have hurt it or not but better safe than sorry.

I did this twice on my Z28 and will be doing it on my daily driver soon.
It's worth the money because it's a small investment (real small) and every vehicle can benefit from some type of preventative and daily maintenance.
