That bump stock is a horrible waste of money. You can do the poly mounts to get rid of the banging. Just to let you know, its going to suck when and if you put a new trans in. Its pretty impossible to get to some of the housing bolts since it doesn't allow the motor to angle down. I have some crazy cuts and sore muscles from that.

if you want a easy fix or a temp fix

you can go to any parts store and get some heater hose and put it in between the y pipe and the floorboard and that will get rid of the banging

I did my LT's about 2 weeks ago and I did this and it stopped the banging noise,

Figure out where the Y is banging and pull it off and flatten it some more at that spot.

flatten the y-pipe? Might as well leave the stock ypipe on then...
Man do it the correct way, get motor mounts. They arnt some expensive *** thing that would make any of these ghetto "fixes" worth the time.

Dude, it's not a "ghetto" fix I've done it 3 times on TSP or PS Y. Just use a wide flat metal piece to lay across where you want to flatten it and a BFH lol. you only flatten it a bit where it hits, not the whole Y. And for the record poly MM's don't always fix it as one of these cars had poly

If you need pointers when putting them in shoot me a pm, I just helped my buddy do a header install and poly mount swap a couple weeks ago. Good luck with it.
