Default installed SLP Lid, now SES light

I just installed a lid and cut out behind the stock cat converter... Now my SES light is on... What could this be.. Im guessing one of the sensors up on the air box is acting up. Maybe just reset the light and make sure the plugs on the sensors are seated properly?

Are all of your sensors plugged back in? IAT sensor? Do you have an air pump?

Autozone doesn't scan for free anymore.

I'm betting it is the IAT sensor. When I did my lid and MAF, I also had to buy a harness that adds the 2 prongs or whatever the IAT sensors is, to the 5 prong MAF. On that lid, you might have to tap into the back of it, and mount the sensor there. There is a write up somewhere around here on it.

Are you sure? If this is true it must be very recent.

Last I heard they (autozone) won't scan the car, but they let you use the machine then take it back in and they read the code. Sorry I go to advanced but same diff right?

You can buy a cheap scanner at harbor freight for around $35. It will be prove to be well worth the cash when you start modding.

Get the codes scanned, but I bet you forgot to plug in a sensor, or did not plug it in all the way. You may need to clear the code, even if the sensor is plugged in now.
