Default header ? / problem

im puttin 2000 z28 slp headers on my 98 z28...? is on the right header there are two spots for the EGR on this header there is only one..can i just block off the other EGR tube on the right side?or do i need to just take the whole EGR system out?if so will it mess up my car if i drive it for the weekend?PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

nope take all of that crap off,you have to use block off plates though,you can make your own pretty easy..it wont hurt your car either!!if you compare the air and egr tube to your stock manifolds you will see that they are the same,but do away with that crap..

there should be 2 holes on the passenger side and 1 hole on the drivers side. 1 hole on the passenger side for the EGR and 1 hole for the AIR tube and 1 hole on the drivers side for the AIR tube.

delete EGR and AIR systems and install blockoff plates. u dont need either system. then get the codes tuned out

yes sir i got my car tuned with all my mods and then a month after a tune i took all that emissions crap off cuz i was giving me some problems, and i still dont have it tuned off... my car drives just fine,you will have a check engine light on,but id wait to get that **** tuned off until you put some more mods on the car!

remove both EGR and AIR. You will not harm anything in the car by doing so, it'll just look cleaner in your engine bay without all the hoses. The ONLY problem will be that your check engline light will turn on telling you the EGR and AIR is malfunctioning... cause obv. its not even there.

just yank off the headr and weld the egr shut. and take off the egr off the car. look up in the sitckys its on there on the how-to take it off.

It'd take the air out be leave the egr on, it helps w/ gas mileage.
