Default Do Aftermarket Mass Air Flow Really Help?

I was wondering if the aftermarket mass air flow sensors really help out, i want advice that i wont go spend the money if it aint going to help?

if ur makeing alot of hp like over 500 then yes, if ur not than the stock one is good

u also have to figure in the cost of a tune with a larger maf as well

Oh i just have the handheld diablosport, i really wanted to know because me and a buddy of mine in a T/A raced before i pulled him like two cars the 1st time, he said he put nitto drag radials and a SLP MAF i put a GMMG Exhaust before that i just had a cutout , raced again and he pulled me a car and a half but before he gor the tires he wasnt spinning that much.

well his maf shouldt have made tht big of a difference, and the nittos r **** anyways unless u warm em up real good....im sure it was just a drivers race bro

yea i have M/T Drag Radials i just dont know what happend he from a dig i pulled him a car off the line but he has a mean *** 3rd gear.

unless you have a lot of power or some forced induction, I wouldnt bother
