throttle body warmer ?

throttle body warmer ? ok on the 98-00 LS1 camaros as everyone knows theres a warmer to warm up the air going to the engine is there anyway to disable this or completely remove it? porbably a stupid question lol

If you drive for a few minutes, the incoming air will cool the TB to the point where you WILL feel the cooler air working for you.
The part you want IS available at an auto pats store. Edelman part# 712460 plus 2 hose clamps will get you going for a total of about $2.00.

Yes, it does make taking the TB off easier. I knew that I was getting a ported TB so I did the bypass in preparation for that. I don't know that I noticed any difference though.

I did this mod and it DOES in make a small, but noticeable difference. If the engine is hot, and it sits off for 10 minutes, it will heat soak though the plastic intake and heat up the TB.
