12s are pretty easy.... dont 6 speed ls cars, run close to 12.8s with a good driver. other than that, a good stall, gears, lid, headers, and a tune aughta put you deep into the 12s, i wouldnt boost unless your looking for 11s or lower.... course if you change your mind you can always juice without really changing your setup a lot

if auto, stall it and tune it for 12s, Ls1s will run 12s all day with minor mods. I have seen a cam/stall/bolt on SS running 11.3s fairly consistant. If you have the dough toss a cam and supporting mods in it and call it a day

I have a M6 here with stock manifold, stock cam , stock heads, minor mods, and gears running high 12's on 255 street tires.

I am hoping to get my car in the twelves by the middle of next month. I am about to add some lt's, an ory, and a tune and 3.42 gears. I am thinking that should get me there. Oh yeah and some mt e/t streets. Boosting the car sure would be alot of fun though.

From what I remember reading, 3.42s don't help much with the auto's. Maybe 3.73s. The Tune and DRs alone would get you there. With all that, you deffenatly should be in the mid 12s range. Just drive it well, and don't break the 10 bolt. Good luck.
