Doesn't matter. 3 year/36,000 bumper to bumper is for the car no matter who owns it. When they run the VIN, if its good they will see the day of purchase and thats the day it starts. With the 5yr/100,000, it is for the drivetrain only but still doesn't matter who owns it. Its called transferrable warranty.

Try other dealers, but don't tell them its reconstructed. Some may do it, some won't.

^^^ What they said. I worked as a tech at a dealer, we never checked ****. I was able to warranty a t56 in a car that had a 9 inch and a cage. Go figure
