Could be a bad IAT sensor, bad temp sensor on the head or a bad knock sensor that is picking up a false knock. The other two sensors are known to pull around 19* of timing if faulty. Just some things to check. See if you can log it and read the outputs of those three if one looks abnormal that may be part of or be the issue.

sometimes the car sounds like its knocking, sometimes it dont. if im letting it idle for a few minutes then open the throttle blade, it sounds as if its knocking. wait a few seconds or so and it stops, this is off and on but not until operating temp. tuner put timing at 32*@wot it was at 37* at normal and 9* at idle... also it pulls hard in 1st & 2nd but falls off in 3rd tremendously
Your heads will dictate the timing you will end up running. The more efficient the head the less initial lead timing you will need.
You setup is firing the up the air/fuel mixture too late hence the knocking sound you hear when you are opening the throttle blade.
Who did the tune on that thing? K mart? Whoever tuned it needs there fingers chopped off so they can never touch a keyboard again.

You need to find a new tuner. No LS motor needs to run that initial timing. That's timing more like for a SBC. Most LS motors will be in the 28* range and most SBC like 36*

I would also like to see a log in HPT to see all the parameters and what's going on with it.

All the things that I'm stating are guesses. You will have to get the car to someone to see if they can look at the tune and see what's going on

From that video looks like Hit Squad trying to cover there ***!!! I slept the light and Corey got out a half a car. I didnt see no 3 cars from that video like some of hit squad going around yelling.
