Save yourself a ton of extra work and buy you some arp head bolts! I forgot how big of a PIA the stock bolts really were! I won't do another H&C without a set of ARP's

On those ARP head bolts, if you plan to be pulling your heads very offen you may want to think about ARP head studs.

I don't think you can pull the heads off with the motor in the car if you use stud. I might be wrong though

That is the reason why i did not go with head studs on my motor. You might be able to get them off but it would take a act of congress if you had to. Me and greg eyeballed it and decided to stick with the ARP head bolts.

Never install heads with GM headbolts you will kick yourself in the *** for ever thinking that it was worth it saving $70

Chris, have you tried to fit these under the car yet? I wonder'd how far the tire sticks out past the fender on 10 inch rims.

I may switch to the 325/50s after my 275/60s wear out. I have seen a few photos on tech of what needs to be done to fit them in the wheel well.

Yeah i know. I had another friend with an older vette.... think it was an 84-86 something like that. It wasnt no slouch by any means. We took it to RR one day years ago and and cut a 13.4 with a 2.1 60 ft. I was pretty impressed to say the least. I havent rode in this one, and he wont race me so i dont really know much about it.

There is a big difference in the 84 vs 85-92 vettes. The 84's wouldn't get out of their own way. They had crossfire injection better known as Ceasefire injection. They were dogs.

Lol, my 85 TPI vette run the best shifting at 4800! It was a fun car. I remember racing a buddy that had a Syclone, he could kill me to about 75-80 then I'd go around him like he was on jackstands
