Love the G8 man!! Its a good lookin ride!

Hey, does anyone know the torque specs of an ARP balancer bolt? and whether or not it needs oil or locktite etc? Ive thrown all the paperwork away

Its coming back together nicely

I know the stock one is like 240ftlbs. don't know bout the arp one. would think its the same, harmonic balancer right?

Yeah the harmonic balancer. I was reading it doesnt take as much since it is stronger and doesnt stretch as much ??

Nice G8, we are looking at getting one this summer so I can inherit the Z28 from my wife. Our dealer wouldnt come off sticker price AT ALL. They didnt even have a GT to sell and STILL wouldnt work on the price. Guess we'll be heading to DFW or Shreveport. Nice color too, shes torn between that, and the blue.

They had a white gt fully loaded for 28000 at mike morgan in bossier pretty sure same deals in shreveport

I did a search and a guy said he called arp and they said 235 ftlbs with moly lube

If I had the $$ I would have jumped on that real quick. Has a 5.3 in it right? I got some exhaust I will make you a damn good deal on if it doesn't have it
