I was just going by what GMHTP had on them in one of there issues. It ran 13.8 bone stock and they tuned it and it layed down a 13.1. Stock everything thing just changed the tune. Not saying what you said is false this is just what I've read on them so far.

Cool, but you do know you coulda got her a new SS here in a few more days?

I don't think you can disable DOD with tuning, might be wrong though.
Credits are $50 a piece and I think it takes 3 on the new stuff. I will check.

I think I'm going to tune my Avalaunche so I can actually get the full 100% throttle

Chris let me know exactly how many credits it takes for yours and then I'll order mine, cause I think we can get a little better mpg pulling these cars if we un-choke these suckers.

I took the long way home tonight around clyde fant and man there was alot of cars out there. I didn't think they still did that anymore. Of course there were the idiots leaving right as I was coming through and they about caused a damn 10 car pile up. Thats why I just assume stay at the house and have a everyone come hang out here or someone elses house. Much safer and no drama.

Josh I found the issue. It's august of 08. I was slightly wrong on the stock end, but this is what they got out of a stock G8 GT with the A6:
Stock: 263hp/276tq on the dyno
ET: 13.63 @ 101.4 w/ 2.08 60ft
Just a tune: 276hp/286tq on the dyno
ET: 13.16 @ 106.6 w/ 2.05 60ft
All on street tires. Said it shifted into 5th about 200ft before the traps.

The tune: They raised the timing to 24* with a 12.5 a/f, raised the shift points to 6300 and the limiter to 6500. Then they removed TM, raised the tranny pressure, set the fans to 190* and raised the top speed limiter to 200mph.

Congratulations on the new G8! That's the first GM car I've been excited about in a LONG time. I'm WAY more interested in the G8 than I am the new Camaro. A guy who lives about a block from my old house has one. He paid extra for the extended warranty; and said that he wouldn't mod it at all until it expired. When I was talking to him, I thought that he made a poor decision about the warranty. Now that I've been through the nightmare of having two cars at the same time requiring engines; stock and reliable sounds pretty damn good. It's still going to be quicker than a huge percentage of the population. I wouldn't touch it other than tint, GPS, and maybe audio upgrades. People talk about electric cutouts, but it's already got an exhaust that opens under wot.

Bad *** car. I'm jealous. I want pictures and want to go for a ride, TO FLORIDA! IN COMFORT!

I forgot to add that I'd probably debadge it before I left the dealership. You all knew that about me though. Badges? Badges? We don't need no stinking badges.

The only thing better than people looking at your car and saying, "Wow! That car is a ...", Is people looking at your car and asking, "Wow! What the hell kind of car is that?"

Yeah, I stole Cody's badges. I think it's still recognizable as a Camaro though.

You seem to be awake. Wanna come work in the yard?
