Well, I used to go all the time before I knew anyone here. And before 95% of my mods. I have check box slap full of slips, probably bout 90 or so. It just never left like that before lol

i will admit my first dead hook was ******* awesome....even though you may not believe it, i could feel the Gs pushing back on my eyeballs in first gear on my 1.69 60 foot pass. first gear is a beast in the 4l60s. after that its not much fun.

Well it should be worth something. It is an upgrade after all. They had a point though about the 4.10's in the 10 bolt. Probably not a good idea to go that low on a stock rear. For some reason I just figured you had an aftermarket rear

4.10s or higher would keep ours super high strung on the highway.
i believe those gears have smaller teeth then say 3.42s but often its the torsens that break before the gears.

thats true.....on the dyno. one thing all auto guys must understand is auto cars arent dyno queens, that is unless you have a triple disc $1200 converter that you can lock on the dyno and while racing. the 3000+ posts i have arent just a coincidence. i have read and learned about every possible part imaginable and still continue to learn. that being said i have one of the highest IQs of "book" knowledge of prolly anyone in this section. what i dont have is the hands on experience and track experience that a lot of the other guys have. i still learn everyday about all kinds of stuff partaining to these cars. there is a wealth of knowledge here from some very experienced guys that have been doing this since before i even knew what the hell an LS1 was. in the end, everyone can do whatever the hell it is they want. but i have learned that no matter what brand name parts you have or whether you have a 6 speed, 4l60, 4l80, th350, a well thought out, well put together combination is what will always suceed in the end.
I has a high "book" IQ also. Hell, I guess you have to to graduate with a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology
