PM sent. The daily driver is back in business; maybe it's time to put the Camaro back under the knife.
I didn't mention it in the PM, but are you interested in a low mile LS1 that already has a Torquer v.3 cam in it, with the LS6 intake, springs, etc? All of a sudden I'm itching to find some more cubes.

I don't have the cash to buy the whole setup. But I would be interested in the cam and intake. If you want to sell it without parting it my brother has a 67 camaro that he is wanting to do an LS1 conversion. He might be interested.

Blown383 I have a SLP Loudmouth 1 just sitting in my garage. If you want it, I'll let it go for a $100. It still looks good and I still have all of the clamps for it. We could put it on at the house if you wanted. I'm living in Stonewall now. I moved out of Logansport.

Oh yeah, I finished my cam install yesterday. Just thought I would let ya'll know. Car sounds awesome. My oil pressure seems low though. If I give it some gas it goes up, but goes right back to around 30psi maybe. I slid the o-ring over the pick up tube so I don't think it got pinched. Any ideas?

well i had huge oil pressure issue after some miles, turned out to be a clogged oil filter. i got the 295 pump so didn't expect much better pressure then stock. it wasn't. just a tad higher. you have 30 psi cold idle or hot idle? ses light?

I think it's fine. I drove it today and the gauge acts like it should. I thought my stocker was on the way out since it was also idling at that pressure, but I guess not. This new one is a stocker just ported and polished for better flow not pressure so I guess it's all good. Now I think I have a lifter tapping so now I have to address that problem.

I had a 98 m6 that had a lifter tap and when it warmed up to running temp it would go away. It did this for 20000 miles. I put in a set of lifters and it still made the same noise just not as loud. I sold the car for 5k and about 3 weeks later it spun a rod bearing.

Don't tell me that. Of course mine is a 98 car with a 99 motor. I know that doesn't make much of a difference, but I have heard alot of bad things about the 98 blocks. Of course this particular motor sat up about a year before it was put into my car so that may have alot to do with it. One point behind the cam swap was to replace all the gaskets that had started leaking from sitting up so long. Chris I got a post in the internal section about it. Let me know what you think. I think it's gonna be that #8 exhaust lifter since I had somewhat of a problem out of it.

Sounds good to me. Let me know when.
