hey i am going to try and run in the true street tonight but i cant get an inspection sticker because of my window tint, i was wondering how strict they would be on this. does anybody know if they would let me run anyway, im really thinking they wont even notice since its just an 06 model.

I heard someone got a Mustang this weekend with a 2.2KB and a full cage. Its supposed to be the (baddest) streetcar in town from what I hear. Has anyone seen it? From the call I received the new owner was speculating it to be a low 9sec car..........

No, its not Lopez's car. This car is not a cobra and its a blue GT 2001-2003 Model.

I know Lopez's car is fast but I dont think it will run low 9's

The best I ever seen the car run at Red River was a 10.90! Far from a 9sec street car......

I'm throwing these dates out there to all of you, Aug 29 index & bracket event, Sept 5 &6 Outlaw Ultimate Show-Down at Thunder Road Raceway Park, Gates open at 5 pm. If you have not made it out to watch the Outlaw races you are really missing out. Would you believe 1.27, 1.28 60's, some of the cars that are showing up are hauling a long way to get here and putting on a great show. The beer garden should be open by the Outlaw event and there will be a band on both days, plus more!!!!! You can also camp for the weekend if you like.

 

hey wayne, sorry we didnt make it out last weekend, fitting **** in the scheldule sometimes can be a pain. So on any of these dates coming up can we participate in them or is it just to watch? Not like I will be participating anyway, mine is under the knife for a few things.

 

Not sure I believe that single digit claim either... We can find out what that 2.3KB can do next to my 2.3Wip if i ever get done.... o course I don't got no cage.. I got full interior & heavy street wheels... Maybe the cage adds 200 HP???

 

I think its a blue car. Whose car was it and who owns it now. I dont think I have ever seen it so I cant vouch for it neithor. but 9's is a mighty high claim from a 2v motor. they called me when i was in Hot springs this weekend and wanted to know if I still had my red car. They new owner was wanting to run me for some cash. When I told them that the car was sold then the story got long and drug out. They still wouldnt say who the new owner was of the car, All that was said is now its the .................... yada yada yada..... baddest **** around.

Steve you or anyone can run in any of these races, just find a class that fits your times and enter. There is always a TnT lane open also. I'll tell you when they are running the Outlaw events I enjoy watching those fast cars and I don't race. I don't want to miss those guys running at all. I'll race on the 29th in the bracket side and maybe the index. If I find a index that my slow car will fit in. We don't have to race to have a good time, the track needs a fan turn out also.
