I would say you are wrong lol. There is a difference between street cars a drag cars. His car was meant for hwy roll racing. If he wanted a built drag car he would have built one.

um..yea lol..4 psi and not tuned for it...just some shake down runs. car still was bucking and kicking bad out of the hole...we are still tuning on it...kindof hard to work on my own car with all these here. shoot i put more time into that TRUCK that went 10.2's than my car. o and the mid 11 run was letting out just past the 1/8 mile BTW....track people told me i COULDNT run past the 1/8 mile in the car.
as for the GTO
yea best it ever did was a 11.0 but you got to remember it was still spinning at the traps most of the time...some times it would hook at the 1000FT. thats why i sold it...100MPH roll racing isnt fun. only thing that ever took it on the street was a fully built ans storked NOS GSXR 1300
LOL say what you want abotu the vette but i will take ANY run any PUMP gas street car you wnat to bring when we finish it out......
just to let you all know...
on 15 PSI the car went (ON THE OLD 408 motor) we only went to the 330 ft mark and let out and ran a 11.01 at 87 MPH, just shake down runs, thats letting out BEFORE THE 1/8 mile and coasting to the finish.....best 1/8 mile run on that setup was 6.4 @ 115 MPH with a 2.0 60 FT. not using the trans break. say what you want but il put 1K up for any run out there on the street when she is finished, that the point of this car. 1200HP will only be low boost on this when we are done!

actually a boost leak that came about from the night before while out racing. just left it that way cause we didnt have time to fix it. if you have ever seen the turbo kit you would know that there is 24 spots where you can blow a tub loose so yea its easy to get 4 LBS of boost, only takes a small leak on a 5 LBS spring

now the vette we will take a few times. its also going to be a roll racer cause of how it likes to hook at about 60 MPH...lol..tons better than the GTO though! 125mph sucked!
The vette however is getting some major goodies over the next coupe of weeks to up the HP alot more. should be interesting...

sorry man i didnt see where you said yall were ROLL racing.... i was making the point that if it spins through the traps and runs 11's at the track then it runs 13's on the street and couldnt see it never loosing a street race, when people say street race i automatically assume they are DRAG RACING since we were talking about DRAG RACING...but if you are roll racing from a high mph then u would be right the outcome would be different.

Shreveport, I know you arent gonna let this man call you out like that with a V6 car. TSP would be heartbroken if you let someone disrespect their engine building skills with that 408 you got. and you got 2 full bottles of dope for the weekend. Sounds like that can be an easy $100 for you to win.

ShreveportLS1- Where were you tonight? There were a few of us out hoping to see the car.
On the other hand there was a pewter H/C/E camaro that rode by twice. Thought it was Hilton but he said it wasnt him. Anyone know the car? It sounded good for sure.
