SO yesturday I was filling the camaro up at a station and a white LS1 camaro, Draglites, Mickey Thompson Sportaman S/R Radial tiers front and back, SS hood w/black around the scoop, flat black by the tail lights. It was kinda beat up, gray spot on drivers side quarter panel...I talked to Badassbowties about it and he said it could poosibly be ShreveportLS1..Anyone know this guy or is he on here?

I'm curious because I'm certain I won't touch 10.30s. Probably not even close. He said a couple things that made me think he was underestimating his car or playing it down. For example when I asked him what size engine he had, he said he didn't know. Talk of racing didn't come up though.
I've been around guys with quick cars before who pretend that their cars are much slower than they actually are, and that they know less than they really do. That's what it felt like. Maybe he was setting me up for races later. Who knows.

The racing I would like to do to save thousands of dollars and my cars trans/diff might not be your cup of tea. Plus I'm away from the house without my tires now.
I have been looking at prices for built transmissions but I'm just not ready for it yet

Ive seen the white SS a bout a week ago or so. someone else posted seeing it as well on Mansfield rd about 30 minutes before I saw him in bossier. Its not the same dude. The car with the primer on the back qtr is kinda beat up. The shreveportls1 chicken is solid white and extremely loud and really is a clean car from what I could tell.
outonyou just called me and told me he cruised through and said he didnt feel like racing anyone tonight. I thought your car was all leaking **** out the rear???? So like tuna tuna tuna. Yeap that is tuna I smell.

Chris is one of the most intelligent people I've met. I think he has math covered.
I don't understand the bickering. I looked back and I don't see where he has been mean anywhere.

Ah, life keeps getting in the way. I'll find time to get under the car soon.
Last week I pulled the transmission out to find that the slave cylinder has failed. I was thrilled! The clutch is thin anyway, so it's getting swapped out. I cut a bunch of metal out of the wheel wells in order to fit the 325s. I also ordered a pair of adjustable lower control arms. The ones I have already will be up for sale as soon as I pull them.
I had the correct length wheel studs and the axle bearings pressed onto the new axles, and I bought the posi additive. I need to assemble the 12 bolt and put it in. I'm still a little confused about a couple of seals. I may have to actually read something.
I don't yet have a driveshaft or a torque arm that's worth a ****. Other than those things, I think I'm finished spending money on the car. My goal of "reasonably quick" should be reached, and not a dollar too soon!
Meh, paint would be nice. Both bumpers look like hammered dog ****.
Oh, I need front wheels and tires. Forgot about those.

Hey guys,
I'm in the mood for new wheels for my ride car so I'd like to try to sell the ones I currently have on it. They are 17x9.5 and 18x10.5 Chrome C6 wheels. I'll get some pics to anyone who is interested. I'd like to get $450 for them
